Our guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to attractions and things to do in Blackpool. Here are some brilliant ways to keep the little ones happy and save money from June to August this year:

National Armed Forces Day (Sat 27th June, St Johns Square, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY1 1BP, FREE)
With lots to see, including military vehicles and various interactive things to try, this event should appeal to all ages. Kids will love to look at Spitfire “Lucy”, while for slightly older youngsters features such as a climbing wall will also appeal. Further details here

Cbeebies Family Fun Day (Sat 25th July, St John's Square, Blackpool FY1 1HU, FREE)
Younger Blackpool visitors will love this day of fun and activities, with all their favourite Ceebeebies characters and loads to see and do. With mascots, a bouncy castle, face painting and much more, this is a family friendly day out with a difference- and better still, it won’t cost you a bean! Our advice would be to arrive early to get involved though, because it’s likely to be popular. More details here

Football Fiesta (Sat 1st Aug, St John’s Square, Blackpool FY1 1HU, FREE)
For any footie lovers, this is a brilliant free event for lads, dads, sisters and brothers to get their kicks without spending a penny! Fancy some keepie-uppies with World freestyle Football champion John Farnworth? Or perhaps a game of Beat the Keeper or even a life sized “human table football” contest? Stacks of fun, not to mention a great way to warm up for the new football season. More info here

Blackpool Air Show (9 & 10 Aug 2015, Tower Festival Headland, FREE)
A fantastic chance for visitors of all ages to see planes from space age craft to classic Batttle of Britain fighters, this is set to be one of the best family events in Blackpool for 2015, not to mention an excellent free day for families. Further details here

Free Art Events for Kids at Gallery! (Grundy Art Gallery, Various dates and times, FREE)
The perfect way for kids to get creative without things getting costly, the Grundy Art Gallery is a brilliant place for kids activities in Blackpool. Whether it’s making prints or puppets, fabulous collages or fun models, there are stacks of lively things to do for children at this great family friendly Blackpool attraction.
