May in Blackpool is set to be a fantastic month for anyone who enjoys dancing, with the huge spectacle that is Blackpool Dance Festival 2015 (Thurs 21st - Fri 29th May). Whether you are a keen dancer yourself, or simply enjoy spectating, fans and participants are already dancing themselves into a fever of excitement for what should be an epic year for the world famous contest.
We’re perfectly placed to welcome guests of the show every year, asTiffany’s Hotel is a mere ten minute walk from the venue. What can you expect from the show? The great part of this showcase Blackpool event is that it is truly for everyone: from young stars of the future to mature competitors, you have every level of dancer from keen amateurs to world class performers presenting a galaxy of steps, struts and sequins!
The dancing itself includes Latin as well as ballroom styles, all set to the fantastic, show-stopping sounds of the magnificent Empress Orchestra and Dance Band. A great reason on its own to attend, the orchestra is the heartbeat of the event. You may well know their sound already from many radio and TV appearances, including BBC shows such as Strictly Come Dancing.
How can you get involved as a spectator? There are a huge range of performances and ticket options, from one day access to nine day tickets for those who don’t want to miss a single step: full details are on the official website HERE.
